Blog strike

I just wanted to do a quick post and let you all know that we are still alive and happy! We desperately need a new camera so I haven't been taking pictures lately because our camera doesn't work the majority of the time. Also I am on a blog strike.....lately I have felt like no one is really interested in the things I tend to post about (example: family pics) and so I am trying to figure out if I should keep up the blog, change the things I blog about, or end it all together? Stay tuned I will let you know the verdict, or get a new camera...whatever comes first!

Keep posting! It really depends on why you are keeping a blog what you should write about. I write for journaling purposes and the fact that one day I might turn it into a book and want the memories. I know it's hard to WANT to post when you feel like no one is even looking at it, but I try and keep in mind that I am not necessarily writing for other people. I write because I enjoy it and want the memories, and even if people aren't leaving comments on every post doesn't mean it's not being read. I know I read a lot of blogs while I am at work and I am not allowed to log in so I am not able to leave comments. I know that's an excuse, but it's not the comments that make the blog it YOU! Think about. I love being able to keep up to date with you guys this way.

If you stop blogging I would cry. I love to see what my kids are doing. Sometimes, we dont always get comments, but I think that more people are watching our blogs than we think. It is a way to stay connected. Don't stop pleeease! And the camera issue...sounds like a good christmas present to me...if you can wait that long.

I agree with everyone else! Keep blogging! I feel the same way about my blog. Nobody ever comments, but I decided I don't care. It's a great way for me to document memories. I do look at your blog all the time! So keep it up!

I'm not family, I'm a friend, interested in what friends are doing, I just found your blog, seeing that you had looked at my blog! Now you are on my list of "blogs I follow" You have done a great job! My camera broke somewhere during the little red ride, and I personally CANNOT blog without pics, I vote for a new camera. . . if it helps, peeps don't comment on my blog either, even though I KNOW they are peeking. I agree it's discouraging, but when we get together they always talk about "da blog" and what I'm doing. . . blog for you, blog for fun, blog for family (and friends like me) ;-). it's a great way to stay connected through a busy life. . .
