OK here is a scenario.....
You are walking on campus to one of your classes.
Another person is walking in your direction, and
it's just the two of you. Should you look down?
Look straight forward like you are interested in
something over their shoulder? Pretend like you are
texting? Or do the right thing and say hi?
Well here is my dilemma! I am a pretty happy
person (most of the time) and I love to make
new friends. Often I want to smile at people
or say hi when I am walking towards them on
campus, but sometimes it can be really awkward
if they have their head phones in, look at
the ground, or don't look very interested in
me. How should I handle this? I want to be
friendly......but not creepy!!!
What do YOU think?

I think you should just smile at them..if the person isn't wearing headphones you can still say hi. That is a dilemma I've had that one many times!! Don't worry about being creepy..just be happy and friendly! :)
Hahaha! Oh Michelle!! I LOVE YOU!! This cracked me up because I could picture the whole thing in my head. I had the same problem. I think you should just be the friendly person you are! Love ya!
I just googled you and found it! Yeah! I'm adding you to my list!
You're so cute, I think you should just randomly run up to people and give them hugs and then run away before they can see your face, I don't find this creepy, maybe a little psycho, but not creepy and besides hugs are awesome and p.s. you're awesome....that would be another idea, rather than saying hi just say "Hey, you're awesome," because who ever argues with that and who ever gets tired of hearing someone say that about them, if you need any more insight let me know
I have the same problem. So, I usually just don't say anything anymore. It is always so awkward! But I love it when the other person smiles at me, then it's like, "Ok! I'll smile back at you!" :)
I like the hug idea! Admittedly, I would be a little weirded out if someone did that to me, but after the initial shock wore off, I'd probably smile about it.
