Well folks today I deleted my facebook account! I have come to the conclusion that facebook is a waste of my time. I know that there are great things about facebook, but this was a personal decision based on my recent beliefs. I will miss looking at pictures of people, but that is about it. I actually feel really good about my decision!

oh Im so glad Im not the only one that feels this way!! I just deleted mine a few days ago too!
So, I'm wondering what some other recent beliefs you have acquired are...by the way, I think you're right there are lots of things that can easily take too much of our focus and attention, hence the no cable television in the house, much to Dave's chagrin (spelling?)
You'd better make up for no facebook by posting more pictures though!
Good job deleting Facebook. I have facebook, but I don't really like it. How did you delete it?
Im so glad you added me!! i actually never had facebook because i new it would be that way for me!!!
I use facebook for pictures and to keep some form of contact with the many friends scattered around the world, but i only check it about once a week, sundays usually :) I don't think letting everyone know what you are doing all the time is a good use of time.
